Tidbits •
- Keys wins her fourth WTA title and first since Stanford in 2017; her career record in singles finals now stands at 4-4
- Keys conceded two sets all week, against Maria in the second round and No.1 seed Stephens in the quarterfinals
- Wozniacki was appearing in her third Charleston final having previously won the title in 2011 and been runner-up in 2009; her win-loss record in finals slips to 30-25
- Keys’s triumph means the first 16 events of the 2019 season will all have been won by different women – the first time this has happened in WTA history
- Keys is projected to rise to No.14 in Monday’s new rankings, while Wozniacki will move to No.12
- Groenefeld and Rosolska win their first WTA title together; Groenefeld now has 17 titles to her name, while Rosolska has nine
