Robin Haase, takes part again in the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament. It will be his eleventh participation in Rotterdam for the 31-year old. The ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament will be held in Rotterdam Ahoy from 9 to 17 February 2019.
Robin Haase announced his arrival when he was awarded the Richard Krajicek Award for the best Dutch player of 2018. Tournament director and name giver of the award Richard Krajicek: “Robin has been our best Dutch player on the ATP Tour for years. He achieved good results in Rotterdam. He once won from Murray and made it difficult for Federer in the quarter finals in February, where he could become number one.”

With his eleventh participation Robin Haase is only one year behind on record holder Jan Siemerink. Haase debuted in 2007 in Rotterdam. A year later he surprised friend and foe by defeating Andy Murray in the first round. He achieved his best result, the quarter finals, in 2008 and 2018.
At the ATP Tour, Haase won two titles, both in Kitbühel (2011 and 2012).
Tenth player
Robin Haase is the tenth player announced for the 46th ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament. Earlier it became known that Alexander Zverev, Marin Cilic, Kei Nishikori, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Grigor Dimitrov, Hyeon Chung, Nick Kyrgios, David Goffin and Stan Wawrinka will come to Rotterdam.
