Why you ask? Simple. Simple? Yes. Tennis is such a global sport he would have seen the sport (GAME) as something that could help heal the worlds wounds. A sport that each week aligns players of different races, creeds, colors, religions as partners in doubles. And travelling family in locker rooms and training rooms. • Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me!
Below we’ve attached the lyrics. They are as true today as ever. And as a child I believed it and sang my heart out and I still believe it today via TENNIS!
LYRICS
Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me
Let there be peace on earth
The peace that was meant to be
With God as our father
Brothers all are we
Let me walk with my brother
In perfect harmony
Let peace begin with me
Let this be the moment now
With every step I take
Let this be my solemn vow
To take each moment
And live each moment
To take each moment
And live each moment
To take each moment
And live each moment
In peace eternally
Let there be peace on earth
Let there be peace on earth
Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin
With me (me)
With me
