Stefan Tsistipas brought up that he is not vaccinated. Halep says she hates the bubbles. That all players should vaccinate. Sure is weird how the players are being referred to as “essential workers“ during this pandemic. Gives them a travel pass anywhere. Minus minimal quarantine.

The record-breaking low crowds. Tennis tickets can’t go virtual. Wrong demographics. Wrong sport. Football. Basketball. Baseball you go to your seat for 2/3 hours. Tennis you go from match to match. Watch by the set. We know ticket holders with all 3 courts at an upcoming 1,000 and there’s no reasonable solution to fix the ticket nightmare they created. No printed tickets. None. Yet they will “fix” for next year. So why not fix it now.
