Dominic Thiem won seven of the last eight points edging Novak Djokovic 7-5, 6-7(10), 7-6(5) to reach the ATP World Tour Finals title match for the second straight year.

“What he did from 0-4 in the third-set tiebreaker was just unreal,” Novak Djokovic said of Dominic Thiem.

Dominic Thiem scored his 300th career win and joined Andy Murray as just the second man with at least five wins over each of the Big 3 champions.

“It was so much on the edge that match like every single match here,” said Dominic Thiem after out-dueling Novak Djokovic.

Dominic Thiem topped Novak Djokovic for the second straight year at the ATP World Tour Finals and will face either second-ranked Rafael Nadal or fourth-seeded Daniil Medvedev in the title match.
