Rotterdam Tennis Tourney Director Richard Krajicek Announces David Goffin To Play In 2019 ABN AMRO

DAVID GOFFIN TO ABN AMRO WORLD TENNIS TOURNAMENT
David Goffin, finalist of the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament in 2017, will come to Rotterdam for the sixth time in February. The 28-year-old Belgian is the ninth player who has been announced for the 46th edition. The ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament will be held in Rotterdam Ahoy from 9 to 17 February 2019.
In 2017 David Goffin reached the final in Ahoy, earlier this year he lost the semi-finals in an unfortunate way. Tournament Director Richard Krajicek: “David was in an excellent form and easily reached the semi-finals. The ball on his eye was bad luck, which bothered him for a long time. Fortunately he has recovered completely and we are looking forward to welcome him again in February. ”
As a result of his injury, Goffin dropped out of the top-10, at present he is number 22 in the world.
Goffin in Rotterdam •
David Goffin played five times in Rotterdam. In 2013, 2015 and 2016, the first round was his final destination. In 2017 he reached the final, which he lost in three sets from Jo- Wilfried Tsonga. In 2018 he had to give up in the semi-final against Grigor Dimitrov.
At the ATP Tour, Goffin won four titles, Tokyo and Shenzhen in 2017 and Metz and Kitzbühel in 2014. At the end of 2017, he achieved his highest ranking to date, a 7th place at the ATP Rankings.

David Goffin is the ninth player to be announced for the 46th ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament. Earlier it became known that Alexander Zverev, Marin Cilic, Kei Nishikori, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Grigor Dimitrov, Hyeon Chung, Nick Kyrgios and Stan Wawrinka came to Rotterdam.
