Saturday at WIMBLEDON is without a doubt always one of my favorite days. The place is packed to the rafters.(Now it actually has them with their roofs..)
Wall to wall spectators getting fried in the summer sun. The other day we ate bugs. Saturday wear your sunscreen and sunnies and drink plenty of water.
I’m looking at the schedule. In tennis terms that’s the order of play.
First up on Center RAFA • RAFAEL NADAL plays a great young AUSTRALIAN teenager Alex De Minaur. Alex has got a great game. But on center court against RAFA. Bye bye in three sets.
Ok. Next up Kerber versus Osaka. This could be a really great match. Two feisty tough players. Going with Osaka. Not sure how many sets. She is a future to tennis.
Ok. Next up is the big one for the Brits. Their 007 Kyle Edmund is playing Novak Djokovic on Center Court. (ROGER’S Court) Yup. Mr Bounce, Bounce, Bounce is playing 007 on 07/07. Ok.
Court Number One has a match we are not missing. Alexander Zverev is playing the Latvian star Ernest Gulbis. Gulbis can win a slam. He is a very underrated player based on his hands and eye to ball ️contact. Going with GULBIS in 4.
Ok. Oh it just gets better. Followed by the mercurial and multi-talented ️Nick Krygios playing Kei Nishikori. Oh my gosh. Going with ️Nick in three. Yes. That’s straight sets. Why. Cause he is HOT.
Must stop here because it’s non stop great tennis. Great men’s and ladies doubles. Great mixed doubles. Study those draws and order of play. Pick your matches. I picked mine. Middle Sunday is almost here.
Editors note: Happy Birthday Max Mirnyi!
The amazing and ageless beast is out there hanging with players half his age. Go Max!
