WIMBLEDON 2018 will go down in the history books! It was a wacky WIMBLEDON in so many ways.

It really was. Ok before it even started with seeding questions. Were they seeding SERENA? Was Roger Federer one or two?

Then it started and there were different seeding questions? Like what kind of seed was used on the GRASS courts? What did AELTC use? There’s no doubt the grass was denser than the prior year. It was also kept longer at first. Followed by the courts got hard like a hard court in places and high bounces.

10sBalls is in a “pool” and we have a second site, tennis10sBalls, so we get two spots. Ok. So I took 10sballs and gave Ricky Dimon tennis10sballs.

I can’t imagine who possibly had the men’s finalists or winner. Ladies we may have a few that had the winner. But from quarters on. Very hard to have predicted.

Wimby usually gets everything right. But when they get it wrong they really get it wrong. Seeding SERENA was good. Ok. A pregnancy pause must be added to both the WTA| ATP.

But the biggest, and we mean humongous, blunder if I’m being polite was putting Roger Federer on Court One! Why? Why? Why? We ask over and over.

How does the number one seed end up on court one? How? Why? Ok. That’s like a heap of them. But why put him in what’s like “Siberia” to him. Unfamiliar settings. Why? Ok. I did it again. A lot of us saw the order of play. O.O.P. or OOP or OOOPS!

Roger is used to going from the changing room (locker room) thru the grand Clubhouse and onto his court. He is used to the family in his corner. He deserved Center Court. He just DID.

And on Saturday the roof should have been opened.

And the last set needs an end in sight. When hardcore lovers of tennis call for it. It’s past time.

Does a player need to drop dead on a tennis court before we change the rules? Ok. Pass out? Go into a seizure?
