Green Is Mean

I think it is just mean to dress these great tennis giants in green!
These sponsors should consider “wearable” colors for these tennis stars. Yes, the Australian Open is the Happy Slam and the fun intense colors invite attention.
Many of the players don’t care what they wear—it is the least of their worries but it is huge for marketing these apparel lines.
While I love the yellows, the hot pinks, and all the warm brights the other players are wearing- the grass green is not flattering to anyone’s skin color.
Verdasco’s deeper complexion allows him to be the most attractive in this shade of green but put him in a HOT color- he will sizzle even more!
Even though Andy has green accents it is hard to look at him in this goofy color. He needs to be wearing a power color. He is far from a Ninja Turtle.
Kimmie has always looked great in the FILA navys and a change up is always fun- but Kelly green is not her color.
If tones of green are necessary, I would suggest more of the neon kiwi green or slide over to new interpretations of army or olive green.
Take it from Kermit- it’s hard to be green!
