ITF Reveals 2011 Davis Cup Sites

The ITF has announced the venues for seven of the eight first round ties in the 2011 Fed Cup by BNP Paribas World Group and World Group II. The ties will be played on February 5-6, 2011.

The 2010 finalists, United States and Italy, will both be away from home for their World Group ties. The United States travels to the Sportpaleis Antwerp to take on Belgium, while Italy is waiting to find out where it will play its tie against newly promoted Australia. Russia, champion on four occasions since 2004, starts its 2011 campaign against France at the Olympic Stadium in Moscow.

WORLD GROUP

Australia v Italy – Venue be confirmed

Russia v France – Olympic Stadium, Moscow. Surface tbc – indoors

Slovak Republic v Czech Republic – Sibamac Arena, Bratislava. Hard – indoors

Belgium v USA – Sportpaleis Antwerp, Antwerp. Surface tbc – indoors

WORLD GROUP II

Estonia v Spain – Tere Tennis Club, Tallinn. Hard – indoors

Slovenia v Germany – Ljudski vrt Sports Hall, Maribor. Clay – indoors

Serbia v Canada – Spens Sports Center, Novi Sad. Hard – indoors

Sweden v Ukraine – Idrottens Hus, Helsingborg. Hard – indoors
