Fashion Points: K-Swiss Is Koool!  |

Have you seen the ads?  The K- Swiss campaign is really “kickin’ in style!

Mardy Fish was the first top tennis player to sign on with K-Swiss and now we can see the brand being worn by Americans Bob and Mike Bryan, Sam Querrey and the exciting Frenchman, Gael Monfils!  The K-Swiss website homepage is now featuring our fellow American tennis players.

Mardy told me this about his “trend-setting”- “Tennis clothes can be so plain that it’s refreshing to be able to wear a cool brand that constantly mixes things up and keeps it exciting and hip.”  He says “it is neat to wear the brand as he gets complimented when he wears the brand and that it seems to appeal to the public.”

K-Swiss- a company out of Southern California – started in 1966-making a public debut at Wimbledon. They continue to be forerunners in the competitive world of athletic shoes and apparel.  The pro-active publicity surge seems to be working!  They made over $250 million in sales last year and the sales continue to build! The shoes are pepped up with their classic 5-stripe and “shield” detail.  Their clothing is clean with spurts of fun color blocking and easy to wear coordinates.

The company prides themselves on being innovative and providing not only great quality and style on the court but also creating shoes and clothing that can be worn with comfort in a lifestyle off the court as well.

Seems Mardy and the guys are happy with helping to make K-Swiss the “It” brand…. Mardy says, “Fortunately for us, most of the brand publicity is doing our job and being on the court in front of thousands of people where they can see the K Swiss Shield”.

He is also thrilled to be part of a “fashionable” group of friends…

“ It’s always cool to be able to represent something with your buddies and fellow Americans… we have been at the same events and tournaments and photo shoots together and of course being with all the guys makes it way more fun… sometimes you don’t even feel like you’re working!”

Mardy goes on to credit K-Swiss and their generosity – “K-Swiss has been generous to my trainer ,Christian LoCascio, who has been lucky enough to be able to wear the clothing line too and K Swiss has always been so generous with providing my family and team with their gear.

It is great to see these terrific tennis players looking so “Hip” and athletic in their “K-Swiss” at Wimbledon!  Just makes you want to do some shopping!  We all want the “Kool” factor!

Great article, Karen! It’s great to see our American guys kickin’ it in style on and off the court. I’m bummed Andy Roddick lost, even though he’s a LaCoste guy. I was rooting for him to take the Wimbledon title this year.
